Mercedes-Benz Scheduled Service Plan


To further enhance the peace of mind motoring provided by our comprehensive warranty and roadside assistance package, Mercedes-Benz New Zealand is pleased to confirm the addition of a complimentary scheduled service plan. Our factory-backed warranty, Mercedes VIP roadside assistance and the new scheduled service plan apply in unison for three years from the first date of vehicle registration.

The scheduled services performed will include all lubricants and genuine service parts required by the Mercedes-Benz service schedule. (* Refer to 'Exclusions from the Scheduled Service Plan').

Vehicle servicing will include computer diagnostic analysis, complete visual inspection, engine oil replacement, installation of genuine filter(s), replacement air filter (subject to service criteria) and any corrective adjustments itemised in the Mercedes-Benz service schedule.


The Owner's Responsibilities


The Mercedes-Benz Scheduled Service Plan has been designed to further enhance the peace of mind motoring within the first three years of Mercedes-Benz ownership.

The owner's responsibilities are limited to ensuring the following basic conditions are fulfilled:

  • a) Maintain the Mercedes-Benz in accordance with the vehicle service schedule as indicated by the instrument cluster.

  • b) All scheduled maintenance work must be performed within 30 days or 500km of due procedure by an authorised Mercede-Benz workshop.

Failure to comply with the above requirements may cause cancellation of the Mercedes-Benz Scheduled Service Plan and vehicle warranty.

* Exclusions from the Mercedes-Benz Scheduled Service Plan

The Mercedes-Benz Scheduled Service Plan shall not include or provide under its liability the following:

a) Additional servicing or maintenance, parts or lubricants to perform maintenance not detailed in the vehicle service schedule or recommended by Mercedes-Benz

b) Warrants of Fitness

c) Vehicle registration and government licensing requirements

d) Items subject to normal wear and tear including tyres, wheel alignments, brakes, wiper blades, oil top-ups, bulb replacement, suspension components

e) Consequential damage due to neglect in relation to periodic and scheduled servicing

f) Breakages - glass, lenses, mirrors

g) Paint - touch-up of stone chips, repair of damage to body and wheels

h) Costs to the repair of items or assemblies not standard to the vehicle or non-genuine parts installed by the owner

i) Damage - any damage caused by the owner/driver

* Transfer of Mercedes-Benz Scheduled Service Plan

The Mercedes-Benz Scheduled Service Plan will be transferable provided the vehicle is on-sold through an authorised Mercedes-Benz Dealership. Vehicles sold privately or through non-authorised dealerships will not maintain the Mercedes-Benz Scheduled Service Plan.
